Dodging the rain.

Since getting back from holiday I've been dying to go for a spin on the GS but every time I've been planning on heading out its been pishing down with rain. Every time I planned to go for a cycle it was nice.I've been on a few outings on the Pugsley with Bruce and J-Dawg, and a couple of solo rides and the sun was shining most of the time. As always, a pictures tells a thousand words.

Here's a wee film I made of our cycle.

I finally made it out for a spin on the GS on Monday night. Its was fucking awesome. I forgot how good the GS is and how much fun it is to ride. I was even treated to a nice sunset.

  1. Fantastic pics there Mike, Before I started reading your blog I always considered Scotland kind of grey and wet....but some of your pics tell a very different story.

  2. It looks like you are having entirely too much fun in that video. The downhill single track and over the rocks looks scary, but fun.

Awesome pics of the GS and sunset. Sure is pretty country over there.

  3. Nice countryside there. You got the mix right too. A bit of MTB and a bit of GS time.
Those sub wrecks, are they ours or theirs? What is the history with them?
    Cheers

    1. Thanks for that. The subs were ours. My mate Bruce can tell you a lot more about their history here, http://coastkid.blogspot.co.uk/2012/01/ww2-xt-class-submarine-wrecks-aberlady.html

they were on the BBC programme Coast recently too.
