More good shit is that I've been given a car! Thanks to my Uncle Greaser I'm now the proud owner of a Ford Fiesta Ghia. Its fucking great. Electric everything and pretty good on fuel.
Ford Foosty
Another good point about the Foost is I can fit my Pugsley in the back. Now I can head further afield. I arranged a pedal around Tyninghame with "Beachboss." Unfortunately Beachboss poofed out due to having sore guts or something equally as lame. So I had my final ride on the Pugsley on my todd. I say final ride as I found this on my frame.
Cracked frame.
After several thousand miles by the previous owner Bruce and a fair few by myself the seatpost has cracked. Nightmare.
The final ride was a good one though. Ravensheugh and Tyninghame are stunning places to visit with really nice beaches and nice views of the Bass Rock. I took my wee Ricoh and the Gopro. Here's the photos and the film. Please note the abuse for Beachboss.

Stick in the mud.
It's not all doom and gloom though.
Look what I've got.
New frame. Sweeeet!
what is it......karate monkey?
ReplyDeleteNew Pugsley frame. Its built now, just transferred all my old parts.
Delete........but its different! older/newer version?
DeleteAye, brand new frame. Sprayed Porsche mint green of course.
DeleteGlad you kicked the gout out. Hopefully for good.
ReplyDeleteGood thing you noticed the cracked seat stem before it broke while riding. Me thinks that would have been an 'uncomfortable' landing over a jump and you may have been wishing for the gout back.
Thanks for sharing the great pics and video.
The ford...ummm.....cough cough.....ummmm......looks a litle GAY! Just say is all...
ReplyDeleteIts an awesome machine Rog.
DeleteCan't say the same about red Trumpet Sprints......
Just wondering what you have against 'Beachbosses' couch. ?
ReplyDeleteMichael couldn't you have ground the frame and had it welded? Guessing they're steel?
ReplyDeleteNice one on the car. You didn't buy it though so I suppose I can't say I told you so... Think we may have some Fiesta parts still kicking about up here from our mk3.
